Chef Troy has been making regular guest appearances on FOX News Rising for the past 2-1/2 years demonstrating his unique style of food applications. Chef Troy's weekly segment, "Tuesday's with Troy", became a feature on the show in March of 2008 and has since prepared almost 400 original recipes live on FOX Charlotte.

Troy is a self-taught chef who has been cooking up a storm for the past 20 years in various capacities including well-known chain restaurants.  He first realized his dream of owning his own restaurant in October of 2005, with the opening of the all grilled concept "Gagliardo's Grill" near Lake Norman.  After several years of successfully pleasing patrons, he and his partner elected to part company and sell the business, much to the chagrin of many regulars.

After leaving the 'Grill' Chef Troy had an immediate demand for recipes, private parties and appearances, which lead him to his next endeavors, those of cookbook author and TV personality. During the ensuing 18 months Troy completed a 225 recipe cookbook including 9 short stories, which he eventually published and presently has available for sale. Chef Troy has gone on to work with Race City Management and is currently in negotiations to distribute his spice mix plus commence his own production company that will film, produce and distribute a 30 minute cooking show of his own creation called "Throwing Heat".  Troy anticipates spinning off a cookbook from the 25 episodes filled with recipes and antidotes relative to his experiences from the show.

Bowing to continued demands for the taste of his unique all grilled concept, Troy has returned to his first restaurant location in Mooresville, NC and opened a more casual version of his grilled food menu, calling it, "Gagliardo's Grill Express". This project is so close to my heart, being back in the town and neighborhood to which I have so many ties feels really great", said Troy.

Chef Troy's casual wood grilled eatery is a direct reflection of his culinary style and passion for cooking with wood, Troy calls his menu "real and rustic"".just simple wood grilled food with great fresh ingredients that everyone can enjoy!" The atmosphere is straight forward with a no fuss attitude; even the staff sports mechanic style work shirts that Troy is noted for always wearing. Chef Troy is very excited about his new eatery and beams, "I have always wanted a place where people could come to eat my food as if they were coming to a party at my house."

Troy resides in Mooresville, NC with his wife Tracy, who was his high school sweetheart and has two daughters, Ally and Isabella.

Chef Troy can be seen performing his magic every Tuesday on FOX News Rising as well as daily "in the house" at "Gagliardo's Grill Express".
